How It Started

Before Everspot, we ran a groups of cemeteries spread across Pennsylvania and Ohio. Our software situation was, to put it mildly, outdated.

Knowing we needed something better, we did what any reasonable operator would do: we started shopping around. We met with every major cemetery software provider we could find, sat through countless demos, and listened to numerous sales pitches. With each meeting, more hope was lost.

The Search

What we discovered was disappointing. Software that looked like it hadn't been updated since 2003. Features that were either missing entirely or so complex they required extensive training to use. And the pricing made us wonder if cemetery software was somehow made from gold.

The real issue was clear: while other industries were embracing modern technology, cemetery operators were stuck with systems that made their jobs harder, not easier. It wasn't their fault—they simply didn't have better options available.

Building Something Better

We couldn't find the cemetery software we wanted, so we built it ourselves. Admittedly, it was harder than we initially thought, but we were committed to getting it right.

Our goal was straightforward: create an all-in-one platform that actually makes sense. Something powerful enough for large operations, yet accessible enough for small cemeteries. And critically, we wanted to offer a completely free plan because we believe every cemetery deserves access to modern software, regardless of budget.

Where We Are Today

Today, hundreds of cemeteries across the United States and Canada trust Everspot to manage their operations. From small town cemeteries to large memorial parks, the response has been incredible.
